The time has come for those of you interested in trying out ROOST. I will warn you up front. This game is NOT an arcade shooter. It will take you some time to get used to how the game works but once you do you will be rewarded with a great gameplay experience.

The following is taken from the front page of www.redorchestragame.com (http://www.redorchestragame.com)

Preloading for the Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 Free Week has begun. If you already have Steam installed you can preload the game by clicking here (steam://install/1200). If you don’t have Steam installed head on over to the Preload Info Page (http://www.steampowered.com/index.php?area=roFreeWeekend) to get you started. Preloading the game now will let you start playing the moment the free-week countdown hits zero. For more information about the free week head on over to the Preload Info Page (http://www.steampowered.com/index.php?area=roFreeWeekend) now.
In addition to the start of preloading for the free week, the new training videos as well as an expanded Lyes Krovy trailer are now available for download on Steam. You can grab the trailers from the following link:

It has not caught on big time with the clan. I guess the main reason is the lack of non respawning gametypes (the reason for Jo's post) but some folks in the clan do play.

I've got the game, just never anyone from the clan playing and I would rather play a crappy game with the clan than a "decent" game without.

And yes, I am not a big fan of repawning gametypes - but would probably play if a lot of the clan played as well.

I really like the Battlefield series, this seems to have aspects of it. Maybe I'll try to snag a key for cheap on eBay.
