All FilePlanet users can download the demo and play! (http://www.fileplanet.com/174572/170000/fileinfo/Command-&-Conquer-3:-Tiberium-Wars-Demo-FilePlanet-Exclusive) We also suggest a trip down memory lane with this archive of all the classic Command & Conquer demos. We’ve also thrown in a top-quality mod for Generals and the exclusive premiere of a HUGE high-def trailer for the upcoming sequel.
Command & Conquer is among the top 20 best-selling game (http://www.fileplanet.com/fileblog/archives/2007/01/entry_178.shtml) franchises ever, partly because it’s gone through so many iterations. The blazing-fast pace of the original set the tone, Red Alert played up the cheese factor, Renegade took a detour into first-person shooters, and Generals added a whole new level of strategy. But the Tiberian setting of the original Command & Conquer, with the ubiquitous megalomaniac Kane, still holds a special place in our heart. We’re looking forward to C&C 3 taking the game to the next level with a graphics engine beefy enough to handle gorgeous visuals but still fast enough to keep up with the breakneck gameplay.
Command & Conquer 3 gets the series back to its roots in the Tiberium universe, with new gameplay features that rewards players for their own unique play styles. Beyond the new story and gameplay tweaks, added new features include voice-over IP, integrated clan support, and new spectator modes.
