But I wanted to get these posted, as I may not be around later on.
I was looking at these the other day when the BF2 1.50 patch news hit and was blown away by BF2 dropping down to number 3. It will be interesting to see where BF2 ends up after the patch hits, with its new content.1. Half Life 8251 servers, 53508 players
2. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 14686 servers, 19906 players
3. Battlefield 2 3577 servers, 15347 players
4. Half Life 2 6907 servers, 10343 players
5. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory 2196 servers, 9260 players
6. Quake 3: Arena 2154 servers, 4275 players
7. Unreal Tournament 2004 1108 servers, 3390 players
8. Call of Duty 1411 servers, 2884 players
9. Red Orchestra Ostfront 1331 servers, 2701 players
10. Call of Duty 2 1978 servers, 2267 players
11. Neverwinter Nights 588 servers, 2012 players
12. Medal of Honor Allied Assault 1097 servers, 1861 players
13. Unreal Tournament 1401 servers, 1357 players
14. Battlefield 1942 542 servers, 1353 players
15. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault Spearhead 515 servers, 1342 players
Some interesting things to note.#6, seems that Q3 has picked up steam
#8 vs #10, seems CoD is doing much better then CoD2, with CoD4 holding spot #2
#12 and 15 both MOH titles still hanging in there. EA should take note on how well MOH:Allied Assault is doing
As always we use Gamespy.com/stats (http://archive.gamespy.com/stats/) to look at how these games are doing. Why? because all the game listed above use Gamespy, inherently. Unlike client sided software or 3rd party software.
- note there is nothing wrong with client sided tools or 3rd party software.
