In light of the new info we have received for the PC version, especially in regards to no dedicated servers, will you buy MW2???
I'm still haven't entirely decided, but I'm about 80% not buying right now.......I can't believe I'm honestly considering NOT buying a "CoD" title. I am in shock.

As with World at War, unless I had a chance to play Beta, or hear nothing but outstanding news about a new title, I generally wait a little to see how the general public reacts to the game. I cannot go dump $50 on every new game that comes out just to find it's a steaming pile of $h1t. I went out and bought Left for Dead on the hinges of Vercetti and Pauls word and wish there was a way to punch my $40 back out of the box.
I was planning on buying MW2 the day of release more on the reputation of IW's success on MW1... But in light of the info that I continue to see I will probably wait on this one too.

Other thing I like to mention is I try not to get "too" excited over news on unreleased titles. Until the game comes out and everything is there to see and try yourself, it's too easy to get caught up in windy rumors that have little backing, even info from credible sources sometimes come out as false for good or bad.

You need to listen to the interview I posted in our downloads section, it don't get much more official than that.

I've been listening to an hour now and the dedicated server and PB is all still speculation. It sounds like one guy said "Maybe they're going to release it on time, but cut corners to get it released on time like killing the code needed for dedicated servers etc" thats when everyone got all up in arms and talked for like 40 minutes on how bad and stupid that would be. Then they say they just haven't heard anything from PB on supporting the new CoD. The thing that still worries me though is that they're still leaning on Steam to support it. But unless something comes in during the second hour of this interview that suddenly comes from 402 directly that dedi servers is NOT going to be there and everything else it's all still speculation and worry. I haven't heard anyone say they're "not" supporting dedi servers, but saying that maybe that's what they might do so that they're not late on the release date.

The official part comes when 402 (Infinity Ward community manager) joins the show. Download and listen to the edited version I mention in our front page news about this, its just the part when he is on the show so it will save you some time, the whole show ran nearly 3 hours.

HAHAHA! Yeah that was priceless! I gotta hand it to the guys, they somehow managed to maintain level of professionalism that I would not be willing or able to.
