There is more to fps than CoD, MoH or Battlefield. Bohemian Interactive FPS war simulators are a very different way of playing an fps shooter. Operation Arrowhead if BI's 5th title in the series, that started in 2001 with Operation Flashpoint. BI release each instalment as a stand alone game. So although it looks like an expansion you don't need the other games to play. BI has a very small team and most of the long term players are happy to give BI money for a new game every few years. BI have gained a reputation for supporting the community, giving out awards to moders and community members.
