This seems to be going around the Internets this am.
EA's EA_Apoc posted in the official C&C forums regarding DRM and their next Command and Conquer game:
First thing to be clear about, Command & Conquer 4 has NO DRM. Zip, zero, zilch, none. We already made this clear.
-You can install the game from the disc as many times as you want on any machine. Re-install, etc.
-To play Command & Conquer 4, the computer needs to be connected to the internet. We've always made that clear as well.

So there you have it, the game does not have any type of DRM but you need to be connected to EA's servers while you pla.... hey wait a minute! By being connected to their servers while you play, THAT IS a form of DRM. Not to mention EA's current track record with games that connect to servers run by the company (fill in BFBC2's authentications and master server frustration here) I can see no one playing this game for the first two weeks.
Remember my motto, wait for the second patch to purchase the game.
